Wars of the United States of America


Niels Bohr (1885-1962) was a Danish physicist whose mother was Jewish. He, along with nearly 8,000 other Jews, were evacuated from Denmark to nearby neutral Sweden during WWII. Bohr eventually went to Britain and was part of the British mission to the Manhattan Project.
